In 2021, the EU Year of Rail, I started documenting all of Europe through the train window. In 2022 these journeys have taken me mainly to Scandinavia and the Balkans. The calendar for 2023 will showcase some favourite photographs from these trips. From Narvik in Norway to Istanbul in Turkey, I find stillness in the rush of the landscapes in front of my train windows.

Get Europe´s beauty for your own home … for those times that you can´t be traveling yourself, or for counting down to your next adventure.

The texts on the last page will be in English (about me, my work, and some of the most extraordinary trains). To make this calendar international, I have foregone marking holidays, so the minimalistic calendar only marks Sundays. Why so minimalistic you ask? A lot of people tell me that they leave the calendar up for more than a year, displaying their favourite picture. So I don’t want to distract from the art. Maybe your favourite is in this calendar too, and can brighten up your home for more than a month?

I would be thrilled!
