It’s no big secret that I’m a fan of travel…. but I also like to be very local. My current exhibition at Therapiezentrum PRO in Peißenberg is the best example of this. It’ s so close that I actually delivered the pictures – which were taken last year in various European countries – by wheelbarrow.
The therapy center is part of our Bath, Spa and Health Park “Rigi Rutschn”, and allows patients “rehab in the midst of life”. As a big fan of the Rigi Rutschn pool (hurray, there are season tickets again this year!) and health care close to home, I am particularly pleased to be able to contribute with my art. Since April, I have been showing a cross-section of my work at the PRO Therapy Center – the official exhibition opening is on Open House Day, May 21st.
I have formulated why I think European train views and Peißenberg rehab go together so well in this brochure for patients:
Photos from Europe and Rehab at Home
At first glance, these two concepts might not go together very well. However, I am finding some beautiful analogies:
Movement is Life
My landscape photographs are created from movement. I find the beauty of the journey in the details I see through my train window. And even if travel seems a long way off for now after surgery, movement and mobility are at the heart of your stay at the PRO Therapy Center.
The Path is the Goal
The road to health is also a journey. I hope that my art – the moments in between that I capture in my photographs – makes your journey a little bit more colorful. My images invite you to pause and enjoy the here and now – even if the destination may still be a little way off.
Bring the World into Your Home
If you discover your favorite image here, you can take it home with you after rehab (or immediately). All exhibited works are for sale. I am also happy to advise you to find the perfect motif and format for you. I am also happy to do so here on site.
Be there!
Before the official opening on May 21, Health Week will also offer the opportunity to see the works starting May 16th. If you would like to receive a personal invitation, feel free to sign up for my newsletter.
