About crop circles and other inexplicable phenomena…
I can explain and understand many of the effects in my photographs. When I drive past a landscape and hold the camera still, horizontal lines appear. If I follow a detail with the camera, it remains recognisable, while the foreground and background blur due to different speeds.
But how do these circles and patterns come about? I can’t explain it; I can only predict the effect with pure gut feeling and trust my luck. In this collection, I present my favourites from various series; all of them from the category “form over content” and “please don’t ask how exactly this is created”.
